I recently purchased a walther p22 and have fed a wide variety of .22 ammo through it. I find that most empty shell casing are being ejected at the operators face or in that general direction. Should I get a new extractor or what?

Take a look at the ejector (not the extractor). It should be perfectly straight, in line with the barrel.

I have it well oiled and clean it after each time at the range. I think I have a couple hundred rounds through it, maybe a thousand.

Great forum! I just checked it out and I found a post detailing the same issue I'm experiencing. Thank you
