    I made my choice based on what 20% remained to be completed. I didn't want to buy the big tap for the buffer tube, and I'm not set up for mag-well broaching operations.

    Hogging out the trigger well was pretty straightforward, but machining the trigger slot *almost* required that I purchase an extended-length 5/16 end mill. (In the 2nd photo, you can just barely see the end mill poking through; the mill spindle is clearing the fixturing nut by an RCH.)
