I'm getting bombarded with spam calls several times a day on my cell. It's been happening for about 3 weeks now. Area codes from all over the place . Blocking doesn't help.
Any programs to add or what can be done? Anyone else being harassed like this? Very annoying.

I think Verizon started blocking some spam calls on my phone recently. The phone wil chirp a bit and when I look at the recent call list there is a phone number that I don't recognize usually from Connecticut or N.Y. Pretty sure it's spam. Once in a while one will slip through though.

+1, but sadly I think it only works for VOIP, not cell phones unless there is a new version. If so, please share it. Works like a champ for the FIOS phone line.

I've been using True Caller and even though my number is relatively new (~6 months) it must have been recycled or something. I don't have FB or IG or anything nor do I use it to register for much of anything, but I've still been getting several spam calls a week on it. It's annoying.

Put phone in "Do not Disturb" mode. It's a free feature in your phone.

People in your contact list ring threw, everyone else goes to voicemail.

This works but you have to go into the settings and turn on allow exceptions and set it to contacts only. If you don't do this it will send all calls to voice-mail by default, at least on my phone.

If you phone does not have this you can download the Mr number app and set it to do the same. It also provides caller ID and automatically blocks known scammers. There are a few other apps that do this as well.

I just installed Robokiller (calls) and works very well. It is not free, but annual membership.

I let them start and then interrupt them saying, in full disclosure i will continue to masturbate during this call.

Also, I just installed Textkiller, currently free from the same company as Robokiller. Must be a "beta" version. In case anyone gets annoying texts. My wife kept getting alot of political texts. Whats great is you can put in key words for the program to scan for. ie ("Biden", "ED", mortgage, etc... If a text has that key word, it will put it in a separate junk folder.

If I'm in the mood I'll play along and ask them repeat themselves several times. My name is Lou Cipher and my ssn or credit card number always ends in 666.

That's messed up. I always get questioned if my debit card is fake because it does end in 666. I even had a cashier in Lowes who wouldn't ring me up because it was the "devils card".
