Just checking to make sure that using aluminum (not the plastic) snap caps are safe going through the actions of a Lever gun. I have a Marlin 336 now and am going to order a few of the 30-30 caps for getting used to the lever action.

    Thanks.

Thanks, didn't expect it to be a problem but with my luck i'd use them and find out there is something about the lever action that is incompatible with the snap caps.

The critical thing with most lever actions is the overall length of the cartridge or action proving dummy in this case. Some rifles will cycle longer rounds and others will jam up with a couple thou over.
