I was down there a few weeks back returning from a business trip and left Dulles around 3:30. Took me around 2 1/2 hours to get home and it wasn't even raining. An hour plus was just getting across the Legion bridge and to the 270 split. I hate driving down there.

Get over to RT15 and north to 70. I know it is longer but much nicer drive if you live in Frederic, Carroll or northern Baltimore county.

I was already in the area for work and finished early
Been in line 20 minutes since it started and I was here at 2:50
Don't think I would drive on a Friday just for the show
Looks like another 10mins to get in

I don't bother with Chantilly anymore. Oaks has more of everything including parking and the drive is less of a hassle than NOVA.
