Montgomery County regulates air guns the same as firearms. Don't try a bow and arrow either. Best stick to Shadow of the Colossus.

And I DID specify for that reason. Yes, there are air powered rifles which are capable of killing deer and even larger game with a well placed single shot. However they are NOT the type which ANYONE with any sense at all would be suggesting as a "backyard" air rifle in a thread entitled "MD air gun backyard". At least not unless you have a VERY large backyard. Like say, the size of three football fields.
