The AACo Gun Violence Prevention Task Force hosted their murder victim vigil last night in Annapolis as planned.

The spiritual vigil was led by Chairman Bishop Charles Carroll of the AACo GVP Task Force.

Significantly, not all of the spiritual vigil speakers focused on remembering the murdered innocents and the grieving.

The new Annapolis Police Chief used his spiritual speaking time to instead criticize and attack the living and the law-abiding; specifically, those of us who don’t agree with his biased political teachings.

    Annapolis Chief Ed Jackson

“criticize[d] the ‘hate mongers’ who he said cite the Constitution erroneously to fight against gun control measures.”

Bizarre Democrat political Ice Bucket challenge, Chief Jackson.

You publicly poured a shocking bucket of your personal politics over the heads of those who sincerely answered the invitation to attend the AACo GVP Task Force-sponsored time of prayer and spiritual contemplation.

At least it is no secret where public servant APD Chief Ed Jackson stands.

We too are praying for the loved, and lost, and for Chief Jackson to not continue to view us exclusively through his personal lens of politics.

It seems clear the the Task Farce is about way more than typically useless political virtue-signaling.

Their goal is to produce a “Report” (due by December): in time for its “recommendations” to be used by statewide Democrats in the MGA to justify more gun-owner control laws against us next year.

What may seem like minor nitpicking about their “process” in this thread is in fact our intention to continuously document how the Task Farce appears to want to meet outside of the Open Meetings Act (OMA) and to avoid public scrutiny.

It is obvious that AACo Exec Pittman and his TF seek to find ways to smuggle “Democrat recommendations” of “THE PARTY” into their December “Report” - - recommendations that were in fact NEVER discussed during their public meetings.

    Examples of this duplicity:

    - AACo .gov twice listed the wrong meeting location
    - the TF was divided to meet in 6 sub-groups, making it more difficult to monitor their discussions
    - at least one sub-group planned “meet” in a telephone conference call, excluding the public
    - the call for the Task Farce to gather tonight without a meeting notice or agenda

The OMA doesn’t prohibit the members of a public body from meeting socially, but they are expressly prohibited from conducting the business of the public body.

Given their arrogance, contempt for us and the rule of law, as well as their obvious political bias, does anyone think that they won’t “conduct business” tonight?

The report has already been written by the Bloomberg Collective; the Task Farce is just going through the motions until it's time to reveal it.

Has the gun violence task force page been taken down?
It seems the "link is broken or the page taken down". And this was just shortly after the Capital tried to discover the owner.

The page comes up in search results, but clicking on the page brings you to a "content not found" page. Looks like Pittman got the independent Capital and Facebook to get rid of his critics.

    Yes, it’s true.

The FB page - - publishing the truth about the Anne Arundel County Gun Violence Prevention Task Farce - - has been BLOCKED.

This is my shocked face. Not.

    We’ve been through this before.

Posted on at or near the top of that new Task Farce FB page in several places was the information that the site was not an official AACo .gov page.

This prominent disclaimer - - and subsequent posts - - on the TF FB page stated that the page was created to document the activities of the AACo Democrat anti-Gun Task Farce.

The page when not blocked looked like this:

Threads about the AACo .gov Task Farce were created here on MDS (big H/T to hodgepodge!) to document the “inconvenient truths” that these leftists don’t want publicized about their biased Democrat anti-gun owner Task Farce.

The FB Task Farce page, created contemporaneously, subsequently came under attack after it published some of this same information, as well as highlighting the bizarre and paranoid social media attacks on us posted elsewhere, including the especially vulgar scatological “comments” contributed by Andrea Chamblee, Vice-Chair of the Task Farce.

However, “The Troobles” with Pittman & Co. really began here back on Wednesday, August 7th, when this thread published the breaking news that the AACo Task Farce had crossed yet another ethical boundary:

The fact-finding AACo .gov Task Force was officially “HOSTING” it’s own spiritual prayer vigil the evening of August 7th in Annapolis for the innocents murdered by young socialist/racist criminals in El Paso and Dayton, and, secondarily, they we’re going to also pray for the murder victims of AACo.

That post in this thread (#365) begins this latest chapter:

    https://www.mdshooters.com/showpost.php?p=5630148&postcount=365

That Wednesday night prayer vigil only compounded their already considerable credibility problems, and produced its own controversy: the astoundingly immoral, unethical and shockingly inappropriate attack on the pro-Second Amendment community by the Annapolis Police Chief Ed Jackson speaking “spiritually” to those gathered there: Jackson labeled us “hate mongers.”

According to reports, the following day AACo Exec Pittman’s office complained to the Capital Gazette, which began to investigate the Task Farce FB page, evidently accompanied by endless whining of the leftists to FB.

I think they especially hated the Task Farce profile pic on FB:

Thanks to the magic of screen caps, here’s a brief summary of the information that AACo Exec Pittman & Co. evidently hoped to conceal from FB users by having the Task Farce FB page pulled down.

On June 26th the Task Farce FB page posted Task Force Vice-Chair Andrea Chamblee’s shocking comment to the Capital Gazette, after the Gazette published an article describing the first Task Farce meeting back in May.

This was the article that hilariously unveiled the (factually unattributed) label of “gun sense advocates” to the anti-gun owner Democrats populating almost the entire Task Farce, as some FB commenters immediately noted:

What they are doing is wrong. Hiding information from citizens written by citizens in a format they chose. They failed as they will in the end given this.
