Announcing 100k grant for prosecutor to address only gun crime. Anyone know an attorney with experience that will work for that?

Someone giving a presentation on how a couple of guys reduced gun violence. From Baltimore.

Gun bail - incentive to surrender gun for reduced bail. (WTF).

Some guy named Trevor Brooke's.

So you turn in your illegal gun and don't pay bail, don't go to jail, etc. Now there's motivation to not commit crime, and you avoid jail. So you just need to "procure" more guns to buy you way out of jail.

Guy talking about an altercation he had with a gun. Claims unintentional discharge. Friend died. Got some time.

Guy wants to get guns out of the community. Says guys get arrested 3 to 11 times before they get into gun violence.

Caused by drug market. They mentions something about non violent drug crimes. When non violent drug offenders get arrested, and are young, then agrees to give three contacts to go find and get weapons to turn in. Need to provide a receipt to gun store or prosecutor.

Police go get gun from gun dealer. Are gun dealers going to cooperate. Do you want criminals coming into your store who don't know how to handle guns.

This sounds stupid.
