Came across this somewhere. Looks like a quick application deadline. Strike while the iron is hot. Attached is the 2 page flier PDF. I heard this is just for the Newark,NJ and New York (JFK) field offices. I may or may not know a little about this job. Might be more positions available later in 2016 (so I have heard).

Good find. I have no interest, but I know people who might.

I was talking to an Air Marshal a while ago and it sounds like a cool gig.

It also sounds like these guys shoot A LOT. That's like icing on the cake

If it wasn't for age, I'd give it a go. Newark sucks but I would be closer to family and maybe at some point put in for a transfer?

I would have loved this 15 years ago. 25 years of various parts in the aviation industry from being a pilot myself to ground support to aviation insurance and risk management. Plus, I love shooting and hanging out at small and large airports.

Are they 1801/1811s? Anyone know what their journeyman grade is? For it to work, PA is the closest feasible residency. Also, on-duty PT time needs to be present to keep from becoming a blob in an airplane seat.

1801. Pay band, no GS scale. Gyms in offices. Training days and office days use the gym. Off work, come use the gym on your own time. Hotel gyms on overnight trips.
