Anyone taken any of the number of half-day rifle, pistol, or shotgun classes being offered in MD these days?

My ability to go off and attend 2-3 day classes is nonexistent until the kids age into high school. Feel free to PM any advice me if you prefer.

My leading choice (based on published curriculum) so far is FreeState's 4-hr series of courses. Anyone taken them?

I am taking the dynamic pistol and rifle courses in January. They were only $99 each on black friday.

I'll let you know what I think. I am also interested in other people's experience with these classes.

Much like you, I have young children and cannot spend days on courses. I really like that the pistol course is after work and the rifle course is done before noon.

I know you mentioned MD but if you're willing to travel to NoVa, you can try out Green Ops. I took a carbine clinic(4 hrs) through them recently that was really good. They offer a few different half and full day classes, handgun and carbine.

ADS never stopped, they just moved out of their original Simunitions only facility, and now provide training at government ranges or other locations.

I believe the last time you and I were there together was during the Andrew Branca legal class. A lot of lawyers are now using Andrews material, he has a program for attorneys that now teach his material.

So Joe now uses ranges 1-7 at ft.Meade or Tippman indoor facilities? He's got some Fcking pull.

    Very cool.

You shoot at FGGM and Tippman?

I've seen Joe frequently at FGGM, I shoot there a dozen or so times a year. I've never been to Tippman; would love an invite. :)

I doubt he is using Tippman, It's not for public use. Sorry, I cannot invite.
