Will Domestic Abusers Abuse the Red Flag Law?

I'd say it's only a matter of time before domestic abusers abuse this terrible law to disarm their victims!

It's like asking if foxes will go after chickens.

Put out restraining order on who may become a problem("I feel of hearsay from this person to cause a ERPO")?

Absolutely .

But don't limit it to just domestic situations , its a great tool to facilitate plain old crime generally by disarming potential victims .

Anyone with an axe to grind can play this law to their advantage.

Guns are bad, anyone who owns or would want to own guns is bad, and the government would concur with both lines of thought, so no arguments there.

Abuse is preordained, and likely in ways we haven’t even thought of yet.
