I actually won this rifle in a raffle. It’s the AT ONE .22 with a 24” barrel. Anyway, I got a 4x12 Sig Sauer scope on it. I took it out for the first time and I was duly impressed once I got it sighted in. I was hitting dimes at 50 yards consistently with match ammo. When I tried cheaper ammo, not quite as good.

    I could hit a 9” plate at 100 yards.

Cheap fun during these times of expensive ammo.

they are very nice guns. I have the 16 inch and 24 inch AT ONE. my daughter has a 16 inch AT- ONE as well. we shoot 20 gauge shotgun cases at about 50 yards off of a target stand. We love the accuracy of them. If you really want to have some fun they make 25 rd mags for them .

I have a CZ457 Varmint with the 17HMR barrel. I bought the 22LR barrel and was thinking about changing until I took it to the range today. I mounted a Vortex Viper 4x16x50 on it and used a Harris bipod. My ammo was CCI 17gr. It was a blast shooting it today along with several other guns including my upgraded Ruger 10/22. I went to Delmarva. Think I'll keep the 17HMR barrel on for now. I also tried one of those round orange rimfire target balls that self heals it's holes. It's a little bigger than an orange. I dropped it at 100 yards and hit it every time. It is great to use at 100+ because it bounces/rolls when you hit it so you don't have to see the holes.

I think the 457 is a great value across the line. Sweet action that can be moddded to any configuration by swapping the barrel and stock.

I'm going to look at one tomorrow at the LGS, but honestly think I'm going to hold out for a Tikka T1X MTR.... not that the CZ doesn't have a reputation for being good... I just think that the Tikka, might be a tad better.

I have a number of CZ rimfire rifles. I can get 5-shot groups smaller than half a dime at 50 yards with better quality ammo from most of them chambered in 22LR. Beautiful rifles too. Recently ordered another, a CZ 457 Scout for the younger kid to use.

However my Tikka T1x does shoot a tad better. 5-shot groups that fit under a fourth of a dime (25% of the area) with CCI Standard Velocity are routine at 50 yards. I don't understand how the T1x appears to be generally very good with CCI Standard Velocity according to many owners, but with my CZs, there's been a lot more experimenting to match the ammo.

Man that's great to hear, helps support my decision to go with a Tikka.

Realize that with rimfire, with two different rifles of the same make and model, you can get totally different results.

And even between two of the same make and model, get totally different results from each with any given ammo.

The CZ 457 Scout likes CCI Blazer. I'm thrilled. 50 yard targets that are mostly 5-shot ...

CCI Blazer is a huge win, especially if you were getting it for $0.03 a round or so back in 2019 - oh, the good old days! That is a heck of a group at 50 yard and a very pretty rifle.

Thanks, buddy. It's the 22LR round that I have deepest stocks, and from before the most recent panic. Lowers the cost of practice for my youngest. :)

My grandson and I have been able to more or less consistently hit a 1 1/2 inch steel spinner at 100 yds using a CZ 455 Trainer w. 4X scope. The rifle is impressive.

I have a 457 Pro Varmint, myself. Stuck a simple bipod, Hawke 4-12x50, and of course the ol Sparrow on the front. With a subsonic BDC on the scope...and out to 100 yards with RWS target rifle it's an MOA gun all day.
