Thank you for the post! Boy, those went quick. And to the others- my thoughts, as well, that they are giving these away to us because the next (fully metal railed??) Model is coming out, for which we will gladly pay full price.. ha!

Not that I've seen. Honestly $150 is a steal. Getting a factory Glock 19 frame stimpled and undercut will cost that.

I wouldn't recommend the full size at this stage of the game, especially for a first time builder, if they're clearing out old stock you could easily end up with one those "early" frames that had the loose trigger mechanism housing cavity, which could end up being a real headache, and a waste of time and money. Go with the compact version, and/or wait for a new improved full size version.

The fact that several dealers dropped the price from $140ish to $70 highly suggests that the new full size frame is ready to be released.

Polymer80 has to give their dealers a chance to dump old inventory before the new model gets announced. Though it could be summer before this new model becomes available.
