Posting this here in case folks in the area are not on the Alert Boiwe system. These happened at the Bowie Town Center and the Bowie Plaza on 197, just north of 450.
Information Wanted - Citizen Armed Robberies
Suspect Description
September 15, 2014
-Black male, 5’11, dreads, light colored bandana covering face, black semi-auto handgun
-Black male, 5’10, dreads
September 18, 2014
-Black male, 5’8, 160, brown eyes, black hair, black shoes, blue jeans, black jacket, dreads
-Black male, 6’0, 160, black hair, grey shirt, black and white bandana, blue sweatshirt, handgun
On September 15, 2014 approximately 2115 hours, two black males armed with a handgun approached the victim and robbed him in the 4000 block Evergreen Parkway.
On September 18, 2014 approximately 2100 hours, two black males armed with a handgun approached two victims and robbed them in the 6900 block Laurel Bowie Road.
Please be aware that both of these incidents occurred in or around shopping center parking lots, please pay attention to your surroundings. At this time, Bowie CID is investigating the possibility that the same suspects are responsible for both robberies.
Do not attempt to approach if seen, call 911.
