Government keeps dropping the ball. It seems like the majority of mass shootings wouldn’t occur if the states were in communication with ATF.

Wow, this one received so little coverage I had to google. It did ring a bell eventually.

Obviously checked off very few narrative points.

    Not white
Looks like a small(er) frame SA pistol, not a nasty ASSAULT RIFLE. possibly 10rnd compliant?
    Knew/familiar with primary victims
Evaded Cali gun laws to acquire weapon
Evaded Cali ammo laws to acquire ammo (law which had been reported to deny over 15% of lawful purchasers, according to court documents recently)

Uncertain: immigration status (which the lefties would rather not explain, even if otherwise lawful)

Then again, don’t apply logic as the left aint interested.

Government keeps dropping the ball. It seems like the majority of mass shootings wouldn’t occur if the states were in communication with ATF.

Or that local/state would do their job. Look at the Indiana Fedex shooting. State has a red flag law. They used it to take a shotgun away from the killer because his Mom says he'd been threatening suicide by cop.

News of course is speculating what happened then an LE isn't saying much, but seems pretty obviously they took the shotgun from him and never followed up. Didn't seek the judicial order (or didn't show up for the hearing).

So the state HAD the ability to stop it (in theory), but dropped the ball. Just like Parkland, where Florida COULD have done a heck of lot more considering the whack jobs long history of violence and other problems, but just didn't bother to go the extra mile even though there was the legal power to do a lot more.

Why a lot of folks say government needs to ENFORCE the laws it does have. If it really was enforcing them and there was STILL all of this problem, I'd think it would be reasonable to have a conversation about new laws.

But it seems like at least half the cases, if not more, that you hear about it was a failure of enforcement that lead to the result.
