Did not see you lot of them but still did pretty good. Didn't see any mallards at all. Tide was pretty high usually keeps them up in the woods

We saw one flight of small birds just after legal that we couldn't identify, figured on woodies. We shot all mallards and didn't get a close fly of the small birds to identify later on.

We had nothing come in shooting distance. High water and debris kept tearing up my set, so I was always chasing that down. Probably would have had a couple pairs drop in if my set was decent

I am looking to get into waterfowl. Anyone out there in southern MD (PG, Charles, La Plata) got room for one more? What would I need equipment wise besides shotgun and non toxic shot?

    Near Birch Hills, Saskatchewan.

8 bird limit per man, we killed 32 geese and 80 ducks the first two days so far.

You wanna talk about wide open spaces....this place is basically waterfowl Mecca. We drove 120KM North from Saskatoon on Sunday, passed literally TWO cars.

Hunting mainly in cut barley swaths. Excellent field cover, endless birds and you can pretty much be assured you're the only group within several miles in any direction.

The hunt is very likely to be a good one when land is surveyed in "sections" (640 acres/square MILES at a time)

PJ that looks like a fantastic hunt.

Wrapped up the first split with a few woodies this morning. I turned them into food for lunch.

I went out this morning with my son and a friend, we had a great time. There was plenty of shooting but the highlight of the morning was this wood duck and scaup.

Went out this morning. Nothing was flying. We did have a big flock of hooded mergansers decoy in. My daughter with hers. Getting a duel mount.

We just did bird watching..... picked everything up around 9 and went to breakfast. All the birds we saw were mile high and didn't have any interest in us at all

Have you ever tasted a bufflehead? Years ago I made the mistake of shooting three of them.I dont know how I did it,but I forced them down as quickly as I could:o

Thats what i’ve heard. I’ll try them anyways, but keep a bottle of ketchup close by :D

ETA: the bird in the picture is getting mounted. Its a beautiful bird up close
