I've been very happy with this load. 17.5g H110, CCI 400 primers, 125g Nosler BT Hunting bullets. COL 2.060. ~2140 fps. As accurate as I can shoot.

Worked up a Hell of a load for hog hunting. Lehigh Defense Controlled Chaos 110gr bullet and 21 grains of Lil' Gun. I am getting around 2,250fps in a 12.2" barrel with a suppressor.

I shot 2 hogs this week and the round was devastating on both. The first was a lung/heart shot on a 80lb boar at 100 yards and ran about 75 yards leaking like sieve and dropped.

The second hog, a 150lb sow, I shot at 50 yards neck/shoulder shot. I was amazed at the damage this round caused. Shot entered neck high in front of right shoulder broke the spine, smashed the left shoulder and liquefied the fleshy part of the neck. That one dropped in tracks, I actually captured the hog falling on a game cam as it was shot.

She came in the back of a sounder of hogs.

Are you using a Dillon press? I have heard H110 and other flake powders don't measure well. I find the 1680 and Lil' Gun to be pretty consistent.

Nope I got a lee , the powder would drop 16.5 for say 5 then 1 would be in the 15's then a 18 . Too much of a hassle to hand weigh each charge :D

I don't think they meter well from anything. My chargemaster does OK with the addition of a McDonalds straw.

Extruded powder will meter from a Harrell well, but nothing besides that. A powder thrower like the RCBS will throw it correct most of the time, there are times that I still get over weight charges.

Have you ever changed the speeds on the chargemaster? I have and it seems to have helped speed up loading times a bit without getting any overcharges.

No I haven't. I'm not sure how to do that. Since for now, I'm stick with a single stage press, while I'm pushing a bullet into one case, my next charge is trickling. Doing it that way cuts down on the wait. I am always looking to improve my efficiency though.

If you want to do some mass production for 300BLK, 223, or 308, I'm just up the road and you are welcome to use the 550.

Starting to load up some Speer 125 gr TNT HP using H110. Starting out with 16.5gr up to 18gr. What should COAL be?

About to start loading the same (125 TNT, H110). For what I've seen 2.05-2.06 looks to be what most are using for COAL.

anyone have loads for pistol length barrels? 8.5-10.5?

I use zip for my pistol loads, and it seems like it should work for the 300 blk but hard to find much info online. wondering if it might be time to pick up a copy of quickload software

All these are with an 8.5 inch barrel and shooting Berry's plated 220 grain bullets. Just pulled them from my chrono app data. I'm going to try to get a consistent 980 or at least try for that.

    11.6gr 1680 - 900 fps avg
    11.0 CFE BLK - 905 fps avg
    11.4 CFE BLK - 917 fps avg

Great info, thanks! I got sick of cleaning lead out of my suppressor from the 245 gr coated bullets and just picked up a few hundred of these to try. FYI that Evergladesammo has basically the same bullet for a little cheaper and free shipping.
