Glad to hear that, I would have gone to Hampton, but not enough time to get off work, I hope it was well attended also. Thank you for finding a way to get there on no notice.

Couldn't make any of the meetings. I have spoken with Gov Northam's office (Celina?) today regarding the budget request and SB16. I've also sent my 4th email, below, since last month to him today. I'll be at Belle Haven Saturday and Richmond 13th and 20th. Great to hear turnout has been strong. fred55

    Governor Ralph Northam,
As the 2020 General Assembly session is about to get under way I respectfully request that you do the following:

    • Reread the United States Constitution including Bill of Rights
    • Reread the Commonwealth of Virginia Constitution
    • Review your Oath of Office (included here)

"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support the Constitution of the United States, and the Constitution of the Commonwealth of Virginia, and that I will faithfully and impartially discharge all the duties incumbent upon me as Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia according to the best of my ability, (so help me God)."

Both of the above Constitutions, with their Bill of Rights, provide “the right to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.” Your intention to enact
tyrannical attacks, infringement, on the Second Amendment, and the “right to keep and bear arms” violate your Oath of Office. Your failure to
fulfil the duties sworn to uphold in your Oath of Office constitutes malfeasance.

No rational individual wishes anyone to be the victim of violence. However; none of the actions in your anti-2A tyranny (SB16) will make anyone safer. You are doing a disservice to the citizens of Virginia claiming your actions will make them safer. You admitted such this past summer after the Virginia Beach criminal act.

So now you and your fellow party members are requesting additional tax payer funds (millions of dollars) to prosecute and incarcerate “felons” created by your unconstitutional firearm laws. Right, that will certainly not increase public safety. Why not use taxpayer funds to address the causes, and solutions, of suicide which account for 2/3 of firearm deaths? Or use taxpayer funds to incarcerate criminals that have violated existing law, murder armed robbery, with firearms? Your position that SB16 and its ilk are for public safety is pure bovine scatology.

Let’s not overlook you and your party’s affection for abortion and infanticide. Those are hundreds of thousands of deaths a year. By the way, did you read the book on the Second Amendment I sent you? I think I know the answer to that…

    Sincerely,

    xxxxx (Virginia resident and voter)

One of the budget items - Gov Blackface wants to spend $4.8M on an 18 member gun ban force.

    FTA:

At today’s budget hearings, the groups have urged their members to ask questions about Northam’s budget that includes $4.8 million for an 18-person force to implement his proposed assault weapons ban.

It also features more than $2 million to hire 10 more to enforce other gun control proposals, including universal background checks, a one gun purchase per month limit, and “extreme risk legislation.”

He should be asking for 10x that to cover their medical expenses ...

Not a fan of the governors plan to use tax payer money to murder said tax payers.

If EVERY Virginia Patriot submitted a new W4, setting our Virginia State Tax witholding to ZERO...
Could they get all of us? I'm starting to think the Dems in VA don't care, they think they can weather any storm of protest we give them. We need to educate them...

Funny thing; I was thinking, after I posted that, if it would make any difference. Then it hit me, oh HELL YEAH it would, conservatives are the ones funding all this crap with our state tax dollars, we are the working class!

Its quite easy for them to get us for taxes. A few clicks on a computer and our wadges would be garnished and/or we wouldnt be able to renew our drivers license/car registration and/or liens would be put on our homes and/or we would be quickly audited.

If you're considering civil disobedience via non-payment of taxes, why would you be concerned about driving without a valid license or registration?

The government would probably suspend your borrowing privileges at the local library as well.

Because getting my car impounded while going to go get groceries isn't exactly a good or effective way to fight for freedom.

You're forgetting about requirement to pay 90% of VA estimated income tax throughout the year. Due to wife's illness I had to quickly dump investment property. Filed taxes and learned, after pay a LOT of additional taxes and penalties, my accountant was off by $5. VA was kind enough to fine me $0.50. I felt like sending them 550 checks for $0.01 each.

Don't think they won't come after you.

No, I'm NOT forgetting about that requirement, I'm telling them to cram their requirement up their butts, and come take it. Disobedience isn't about obedience...

I guess we're finished, we'd have a revolt or a rebellion or a civil war in Virginia, but it's against the law... Oh, well, never mind then...
And I'm not talking about 34 of us doing it either. Go big, or go home (or up that plank to the cattle car for your ride to the conservative re-education camp...)
