I bought that one also. I still like my leek for EDC. I've tried using it as a EDC, but it just doesnt feel right to me. I like its size for an EDC, but there is just something about my leek I like better.
Yep, I agree, its more of a tool (with screwdriver, bottle opener and keychain clip), but its also more stealthy and innocent. As far as emergency (last resort) defense, it's no where near as pointy, and shorter, but the lateral strength is much stronger and with the right grip nearly impossible to have fold on you. In this roll its more of a slasher, whereas the Kershaw CQC-3K is more of a stabbing knife, but could do either reasonably well; definitely the better defensive blade of these two.
