CZ 455 and 452 are some very fine rifles. I bought two CZ 452 American this past winter.
Both in 22lr and found they like CCI standard velocity 22lr ammo.
Give some a try and good shooting.

About that mag release, go to these pages and pick up a few after-market parts. You won't regret it.

I have the CZ455 Varmint and have replaced the mag release, sear & trigger guard. Lightened the trigger with a YoDave kit. Loving it!

Already done I went with a spring only(so far,no shims yet) with a 1.5# pull and almost no creep.:D I'll lower it once I get more trigger time and get comfortable. I got the alum magwell and extended release after shooting it for the first time. That mag release is terrible.

I need a cheek riser after mounting the New sightron 10-50x60.... I tested several types off ammo at 100/185 yrds yesterday on various steel. The 10mph wind gusts made it pretty challenging along with the remaining snow on the ground that would let me see my missed too well. I tested CCI std velocity/Norma TAC 22/Lapua Center X. The Norma won out at 185 yrds for most consistent hits once i figgered out the wind. I still need to get back out and check groups at 200 on a calm day......

100 yrd groups. I think I need more work in form. I tend to start rushing on longer scope sessions
