There's not much involved in getting set up for loading your own 9MM.

I use:
a Lee Breech Lock hand Press,

Lee 9MM Reloading dies ( the kit and also a separate Lee Crimp die),

a RCBS Chargemaster Powder Dispenser,

and a hand priming tool.

Not an odd thing at all: more like the expected thing.

Pistol Point of Impact is strongly influenced by the muzzle rising while the bullet is still in the barrel. Lighter bullets mean less recoil and thus less muzzle rise, and so will hit lower in many guns. Full sized guns with a lower bore axis will rise less also. I know both of my M&P 9mms shoot low with 115gr. bullets.

A little subcompact like the LC9s probably has a LOT more muzzle rise than does an M&P, thus it's not surprising at all that 115gr. bullets hit higher out of the smaller gun.

So my S&W M&P Pro Series 9MM likes 124 grain ammo but my M&P9 only likes 147 grain.
