Hello,

Active duty military new to the area. I actively participated in Precision Rifle Series competitions at my last duty station. I am hoping to utilize the forum to keep up with local events like PRS or IPSC style shoots in the area as well as any possible resources to assist with getting my concealed carry permit for Maryland.

Thank you for the welcomes and the resources already, guys. I've never been north of DC on the east coast before so the wife and I are excited. We like to travel and we are very outdoorsy so the opportunity to explore this whole area is exciting to us. I've poked around and it definitely seems like the route to go for PRS is to be willing to travel a bit into Virginia, WV, and PA, but luckily we're nomads.

long range challenge (fun belly match out to 1000-1200yds) this saturday (tomorrow) at peacemaker. then on the 24th they're having a PRS match. on the 11th they have their 'frontier sunday' where they just open the range up for practice.

This is very good info to have! We're still getting settled into the new house, but I'll look around. I think I maybe have 60 rounds or so of my 300WinMag 200gn load left for my F-class gun. If I can locate it I might try to make the trip out that way.

For PRS I'm currently in transition on rifles. I no longer have the 6mm Dasher I shot at my last competition and am trying to recover financially from this last move to pick up a 6mm CM rifle and a decent scope for it.

We found a house in the Glen Burnie area. We have kayaks and bikes so this offers us nice access to the Severn river area and the Annapolis bike paths and parks along the coastal areas.
