Hogan is another John McCain: a Republican in Name Only that you cannot trust. I will be writing in Larry Hogan, Sr.

Ran across this earlier today. Fits quite nicely in the Hogan threads.

Oh, now I understand. I thought we only had one governor, not three that we could choose to follow from day to day, depending on what we felt like eating for lunch.
Here's how to make the fast food franchise "analogy" work:
There's a high-stakes contest among three fast food franchises, and only one of them will be allowed to remain open to serve the public. The other two will close all their stores.
Burger King and McDonalds are the two big players, so one of them will remain open. The other one will close.
But Taco Bell, the smallest, also will go out of business regardless of which of the other two gets more votes.
The only role Taco Bell plays is to help determine which of the other two it will take down with it.

That's one way to look at it.
Another way is that there is literally more than one choice for governor. It is not a binary decision. The marketing arms of both major political parties have bought enough influence over a dozen or more generations to make you believe it's binary, though. It's easy to believe. Hell, it's all we hear in major media outlets, and we know it's spouted frequently enough by our own membership here.
Continuing to buy into the false narrative of one choice only serves those in power, not the people.
Jim, do you think there will be a difference in what follows, if Hogan wins by, say, 3600 votes, then there would if he wins by 36,000 votes? There is only one way to look at it: Either Jealous or Hogan will be governor, barring unexpected disqualification or tragic unavailability of one of them. Period. Mighty Mr. 1.5% will NOT be the governor.

I will NOT be voting for Ben J., but may, or may not vote for Hogan.
I think whoever wins, will win fairly comfortably, but I don't think anything will be different if Hogan wins big, or small.

I can agree with what you wrote, but my question is do you think there will be a difference in what follows, if Hogan wins by, say, 3600 votes, then there would if he wins by 36,000 votes?E, I don't presume to know which one of them will win, let alone what the margin will be. I think every single vote needs to be mustered no matter what the ostensibly authentic or push-polls say, even the day before the election. Things are far less predictable than even the so-called "experts" have predicted, and anybody who doubts it need only look at recent history. Anybody who wants to gamble or play the odds ought to go to Las Vegas and play with their own money, instead of everybody's future.
