Anywhere in Maryland/PA/WV really. I didn’t think they were that common. I’m not far from you actually, in abingdon.
We will hold both an AR basic and intermediate classes in April. Both will be on the eastern shore. Don't have the dates at home and not on website yet. Will private message.

If OP (or others) are willing to drive a bit (OP said he was cool with that), I've had great experiences with John Murphy of FPF Training (https://www.fpftraining.com/products/minuteman-rifle-course-mrc) and Mike Green of Green Ops (https://www.green-ops.com/2019-schedule-registration/). Both run most of their classes in the Culpeper, VA area, but Green Ops also does shorter clinics at the NRA Range in Fairfax (erwos, member here, has attended several clinics, and I've attended several 8 hour classes with Green Ops and FPF.....my reviews are available in this very forum).
Steve Fisher of Sentinel Concepts, a very well-known national-level instructor, is also doing a carbine class in VA in March (https://sentinelconcepts.com/event/essential-carbine-employment-10/). I've only ever done a pistol class with Steve but would take a carbine class with him without hesitation.

I've taken a couple classes with Phil at Vigr Training. He's a former Marine and LEO and a solid instructor. He's mostly in the Central PA area.
