Just wondering if a rebarreling a SA M1A Scout to 6.5 Creedmore would make it compliant or would it still be considered a grandfathered and banned for resale M1A by SN?

M1A is banned by name. The listing does NOT list caliber.
The M65 being sold is not an M1A.
Also, a copy is a rifle that can exchange any one part with the same part on a banned rifle and still function. So changing the carrel (one part) means the new rifle is a copy of a banned rifle, thus baned.

If that were really true, then all hbar ARs would fail that test.
The Colt Hbar is allowed by name, not construcion.
All this ban talk is the bane of my existence.
When is an M1A not an M1A? When its 6.5 Creedmoor.
