Work put me in the area so I visited the Talladega Marksmanship Park and figured I would post a few pics and give a report.
Bottom line is this place is top notch and worth a visit. Aside from biathalon(which is understandable), I think all types of shooting sports can be done at this place.
I only used their 600 yd. rifle range but that was enough to make the range fee worth it. The electronic targets make range time super efficient. I was able to check/change zero and confirm dope at all distances in a fraction of a time that it takes on a normal range. The targets registered every shot in .308 and .223. There were 54 lanes with the electronic targets. Every position was covered with an open metal building. The building did not echo and amplify the reports from the rifles as some shooting position shelters do.
There is a really nice main building with lounge, viewing area of the rifle range and a pro shop.
