I was down in VA a couple of weeks ago and stopped by Green Top. Last time I was there, I was looking lustfully at the 10/22 TD Lite. Takedown, with bull barrel profile, but the barrel is a tensioned thin barrel in a larger shroud.

Comes in a nice short zipper case.

So I pick up a sweet Leupold (my first L scope) 2-7x. Mount it up.

And WTF?!. The rifle will not fit in the case with a scope. Kind of strange for a rifle sold without iron sights.

But there is room of the alternate stock piece, which you would not really need to carry around.

I have the same rifle and you can adjust the retainers to accommodate most optics. Admittedly, I only have a SPARC on mine but I'm sure there is a way.

    Just my $0.02

Same here. First year TD stainless with a 2-7x, won't fit in the bag. Figured they'd have fixed that by now ...

Thought about qd mounts. Haven't gotten around to it yet.

My dividers are sewn in place, no adjustments.

One big pouch on one side for stock/receiver, two narrow pouches on the other.

Might look into qd mounts, might get another bag, might keep using a normal rifle case and never td my td ...

Just remounted the scope forward a bit. Can now get stock/receiver w/scope zipped into the bag - it's pretty tight though. Flap on the large pocket won't close - no biggie.

The way the bag was setup originally, just the top of the receiver was right at the zipper of the bag.

I removed the other comb piece, and just moved the receiver down. I will probably try flipping it, so the scope is in the middle, so more protected.

Movable ties may be on the newer cases.
