Black Friday sale??

New shooter, first Black Friday as a gun owner.

Wanting to pick up an AR next week but a couple of people said I’d be crazy not to wait for Black Friday.
“Guns go on sale 40% off”

How much truth is in that or should I just do it.

Go for it. Get a cheaper one next week to scratch that itch, then get a better one on Black Friday! :cool:

I wouldn't say crazy not to wait, but why not ?

I wouldn't get my hopes up for a 40% discount but in today's market I wouldn't be worried about prices jumping up and you might snag a good deal.

AR's were getting pretty inexpensive recently. So I dont know how much of a break you would get on BF anyways. Look around here and then go see a local gun dealer to see what they have.

I'd say wait it out. Worst case, in my opinion, the price stays the same.

I don't think you will find any gun 40% off the cheapest price you can find it today. I would say you would be lucky to find it 10-15% cheaper than you can find it today. Look online and get on some of the email lists of PSA, Kygunco, and they will send you deals. Warning this may cost you money as you see deals you can't pass up. You should be able to build a PSA or just match an complete upper and complete lower from PSA for about $350 bucks if not cheaper.
