What does this new handgun roster change exactly mean ? Model numbers will no longer be excepted just the model description. Does that mean for example that a p365 and all models such as x, xl , sas will automatically be approved cause the base model is approved ? Any help would be great . Thanks

Please take the time to introduce yourself in our introductions section.

I THINK it means that if it is a Great Western 1873 revolver, you won't have to worry about all the different model numbers of the same revolver. They finally have realized that a stainless steel gun with a birdshead grip is the same basic pistol as a blued model with a standard grip.
