Is there a strict...hard and fast...limit of 300 messages in the private messaging system? I had thought that if I set up folders and moved messages to those folders that I could have 300 active and as many as I wanted moved into folders.

    No?

I'm pretty sure its 300 total no matter what folders you move them to. I believe you can also download them to your PC for long term storage and then delete them from your folders to make space, although I've never done that myself.

I believe that a contribution to the site can increase the size of your mailbox. I don't know what the limits might be, but I have a 600 entry capacity.

Remember that you can download those messages and clear your box out and still have the best of both worlds.
