    Have you visited the 6.8 Forums? http://www.68forums.com/forums/ They have all of the data you could ever want on the 6.8 SPC, including internal volumes of all cases, loads, and why you want to use SSA brass versus the rest.

    SSA: Length 1.676 inch: 35.4 grains of water.
    This is lower but very close to Hornady, and S&B.

    People swear by this brass, the general sentiment is that it is of high quality and lasts more reloading times than others.

    Its on my wish list to buy some SSA ammo, shoot and reload to try it out.

    Do you know if the tactical or the hunting SSA ammo have crimped primers?
