    in another forum post it says you can purchase your handgun on September 30 and be able to pick it up afterwards without the HQL. Its only if you purchase on or after the first you our out of luck

    The problem is that there may be no handguns left.

    Just go to the Gun Center. With their higher than MSRP prices and policy to wait 120+ days for the ND from the MSP, their handgun case was better stocked than I've ever seen it. Amazed that they don't develop better business sense.

    Based on the little change last night, it may not be too late to get one w/o HQL.

    Keep in mind the MSP release referenced HQL, mag size more than likely needs to be 10 or less.

    Simple buy the gun before Oct. 1 and take the mags. with you, wait the seven days pick up the frame after Oct. 1 on the eighth day (FFL willing). You can still purchase up to 20 round mags. in Maryland until midnight Sept. 30.
