    I made mine. No plans.

But, top is 1 sheet 3/4 inch ply, ripped to 2 feet wide, and doubled up with glue and screws. Frame of 2x4s, flush on sides and back, and recessed about 4 inches in front.

Legs are 2x 2x4, with one 2x4 butting against the top frame, and the other on the inside. 1x2 lower frame with 1/2 ply shelf. Putting bullets on there makes it much more stable. Back of frame and legs is faced with 1/2 ply from the top frame to the lower frame.

Height was based on my working height while standing. No raised mounts needed.

I covered the top with matte white laminate. And put a 1/4 ply side and back lip about 2" high to keep things from falling off.

I made my benches using 2x4 basics kits. You can make them any length or width, but, limited in height to the height of the kits.

I didnt use plans but i have some pics to give a general idea, I used conference room tables for the tops. Solid doors always work well.

Thats what I need to do is build a new work bench. No matter how large I build them they always seem to be not large enough. One thing I always found helpful was to set a piece of smooth plate steel into a portion of the top of one.
Also I found at one time useful to have a piece that projected outwards like a bar. The bottom was just shelves and the top had a home made cradle for fixturing a rifle to it. It made some things easier to just be able to walk around to the other side.
The next one I build is going to have a horse that can be used to support a rifle when its clamped in a bench vise.

I'm always throwing solid core doors away from our commercial job sites. In the future I will start posting if anyone could use one.

That would be awesome of you! I've done the same thing picked up a few from my stops in Virginia brought them back in the work truck then swap them to my truck for the way home. I think I've given away three or four by now on MDS. Also conference room tables work break oh, that's what I used for my workbench.

I built a bench this summer and based mine on plans found in YouTube.

I used a flush mounting plate by inline fabrication and leveling feet since my floor wasn’t. Wish I had more room, and while the space is tight it’s a darn site better than the old workmate is had been using.

I have limited space in my work area and this is something that I think would definitely fit the bill! Did you just search “Toms workbench” in YouTube?

I made mine but didnt use any plans. Mine is attached directly to the wall studs. I used 2x3 for framing and 3/4" red oak for the top.
