Anyone have a lead on a 1903a3 reciever

    Im not familiar with what would require to be fixed with a drill rifle. I basically have a complete 1903a3 but on a horrible national ordinance reciever. What would be required to make the dr receiver operable.

    You would need to spend some time with a dremel tool cleaning up welds and fixing the magazine cutoff area, but with time and patience it's doable

    I just repurposed another 03a3 receiver. It’s doable relatively easy as long as the receiver face is not welded all to hell and the cut off isn’t completely wrecked.
    The good thing in the wrap barrels usually index quite a few degrees before meeting the marks so the face can be cleaned up and a tug welder can reconfigure the cut off area that is a forgiving area.
    What you want to look for is worn bolt raceway and stripped screw holes in the front lug area.
