My dad was a cop in the 80's and 90's. I distinctly remember him telling me that whenever I saw a man with a fanny pack he was either "a f@g or cop, either way leave em alone." Lol.

Kman exagerates just a little bit.

There are aging computet geeks who never stopped wearing fanny packs.

If you plausably look like you just came back from fly fishing, hiking the AT , riding a bike in sweats instead of spandex, or are a tourist on vacation, a fanny pack would blend in.

If you wanted to carry a 6in Nframe wearing swimtrunks, fanny pack is best option.

And the age cutoff for plausibility is more like mid to late forties than 75. But of course to the yutes, everybody over 35 looks alike.
