Hey guys, I'm new to the forum so I thought I'd take the opportunity to make my first post about an interesting pair of revolvers I found at a local gun shop. What they have is a very attractive matched set of single action Colt clones, one chambered in .45 Colt and the other in .44 Magnum. At first I thought they may be worked over Ruger's, but after studying them a bit more they seem more similar to the Cimarron's to me. They both have ramp front sights and adjustable rear sights that blend in rather nicely, and feel like they've had some trigger work. Lastly, they have 3 digit serial numbers which to me signify low production numbers. I'm not sure if I'm interested as a buyer, but I am very interested in learning more about them especially if they truly are manufactured locally. Is anyone out there familiar with a gunsmith who marks their work "Hill, Owings Mills Md"?
