Shafted is here with me as well as Ed Hershon who is representing a client before the board tonight.

The board does have a quorum, Judge Smails, the MoCo attorney and Silent Jacque.

Taylor and Bonell on the bump for the MSP.

Something new is the seating arrangements, there are now round tables staggered around the room like you would find at a wedding reception.

Because he likes to hear himself speak, Smails just announced that the meeting would start in 1 minute and that there were male and female urinals in the rear of the room.

Smails is an idiot, he just asked if while transporting the machine guns weren’t they in cases and out of view? Applicant explained that they draw attention at a range and could be followed and robbed afterwards. Judge said that of course guns draw attention at a range.

B says that the applicant put himself into the position of owning a machine gun by choice and so they don’t issue permits for protection in those situations. Smails asked the applicant if he knew that he didn’t need a permit to transport firearms?

Smails just acted like he was Solomon and said that it seemed to him that a good solution would be to issue a permit for the applicant when he was transporting machine guns. B responded with “that’s pretty much what he had”.

Applicant stated, and B backed up, that there were four City FFs attached to the Tac teams that had permits for personal protection because they were on those teams. Applicant stated that the only difference between he and them was that they were on the tail end of the stack but performed the same duties that he did.
