Nothing like unconstitutional gun laws and dangerous drug prohibition laws fueling crooked cops and empowering criminals.

That wouldn't meet with the MSM's narrative. There is always good news involving police officers. But you'll never see that published or those stories told.

There are occasional stories focusing on the good cops do.

I mean just google cop buys shoes for homeless and there are a lot of results.

The problem isn’t that there aren’t good stories about cops, there are just vewer good stories in the MSM in general.

google is your friend, I am not.
Maybe we need a "bad shit cops do" omnibus thread

    http://www.baltimoresun.com/news/maryland/crime/bs-md-ci-shropshire-verdict-20171031-story.html

A federal jury has convicted five men of running a million-dollar heroin ring in Northeast Baltimore and dealing drugs for years under the protection of a rogue city police detective.

One of the drug dealers, Antoine Washington, was also convicted of selling the heroin that caused a teenager to overdose and die in a Bel Air basement two days after Christmas 2011.

Only the cops should have guns....

No. One that just says "Baltimore" will do.

Didn't mean this thread to be a cop bashing thread. Baltimore bashing yes.

They were just streamlining the "Asset Forfeiture" program.

When outright theft is green-lighted by the government, and seized assets are handed over to the police departments that seized them, it's a baby step to the Baltimore situation in question.

I have friend here at work who was on the jury for these 5 drug dealing cops. He had some very interesting things to say. They moved over 17 Kilograms of heroin in the last 5 years. DEA and FBI had been watching them that long. I asked him if they were the same group as the gun unit, he said that came up in the trial and the two groups of cops knew each other but were different folks.
