I've done a previous 80% build a couple years ago and it turned out fine. This current one however is giving me some trouble. Two questions for y'all:
    1) After completing the drilling and milling for the FCG and attempting install, the hammer does not make contact or engage with the sear. I thought the pin holes might be in the wrong place but after using some JB weld and re-drilling, there is no noticeable difference in hole location. I think I may have gone too deep but some other forums say that shouldn't be an issue....

    2) How should the safety selector interact with the FCG once they're both installed? Without putting the detent spring in but having the FCG installed, the safety seems to not be making contact with the FCG.

    Thanks

The screw hole locations vertically and horizontally must be correct in order for the hammer and trigger sears to match up. If you have a store bought lower, you can measure where the holes are on it. I have run into bad jigs and out of spec 80% paper weights before. It happens. Better get a new block rather than using epoxy.

The saftey blocks the trigger sear from releasing the hammer. When operating properly, the trigger will not move with the safety on. The safety only contacts the trigger body when the hammer is cocked and the safety is moved to the safe position. In the safe position, the round edge of the safety holds the trigger down.
