Hello all, needing to get my Ruger 8502 barrel threaded. Any idea of who I should reach out to and what's a fair price for the work?

    Thanks,
    Jon

ADCO. Good pricing and quick turnaround. Downside is you have to ship it to them. If it's a complete firearm, that kinda sucks.

I used Duffy's and am very happy with the results. Price was reasonable and would be slightly cheaper than or comparable to ADCO without the shipping hassle. The one downside is that it took a few weeks because they are usually pretty booked up with gunsmithing work.

    Another happy Duffy's customer.

But they always seem to be a bit of a wait (which means they are keeping people happy).

For faster work, send it out.

I have had 1 week door to door service with both Short Action Customs (thread, crown, install and time muzzle brake, Cerakote) and Long Rifles Inc (thread, make thread protector, Cerakote entire barrel).
