Sometime to put things in perspective we need to look back to how things were. I found an on line copy of a book to help put handgun shooting into perspective. The book is "Modern American pistols and revolvers" and in this case "modern" is 1894. I personally found the section on long range shooting interesting. Take a look at how they did things and how they did at the turn of the century before the turn of the century.
