If the answer is more than 50% no then "a majority of Americans agree people should not carry handguns in public"

You did you maths a little wrong.
Yes: 14000
No: 3351
Total: 17351

% Yes: 14000/17351 = 80.7%
% No: 3351/17351 = 19.3%
