If you are training exempt, skip the CCW without any response and move on and advance to the next screen. That is if you do not have a CCW.

You pay at the very end of the application.

That's the thing ,it kicks me back and says the CCW # is required.

    BigD,

Perhaps if you reapply and start from the beginning. Start a fresh application. Choose the HQL Exempt application.

My application took 18 days to approve. I have a class 3 stamp and close to 20 regulated purchases in 20 years.

Awiite BD. The important thing is that you realize the errors of your ways and publicly repented for your sins and transgressions.

And that you are now one step closer to getting a BS license!

    : )

Just checked and I'm active.....holy crap that was fast.

Training exempt as a previous owner ,submitted late on the 5th and active as of just now. Nothing was checked as of last night so it essentially got done in less than a day.

    Still waiting.....

I submitted my HQL paperwork and the such on 12/3. Everything but the CJIS was approved by 12/5. I have many registered firearms, a security clearance, and training to boot so I am sure they shouldnt have a problem with my CJIS but I am still waiting.

Just wanted to give you guys a heads up that I submitted my paperwork on the 17th of January and was approved on the 25th of January... Received my HQL license today in the mail. (Feb. 6th). So start to finish I really can't complain, for just under 3 weeks...

But what I did notice during the process is that my information online stated I was "Approved" instead of pending like more of you stated... It said approved for about 4-5 days before my license arrived in the mail.

So that should give other an idea of a time line and to be patient... I have another friend who applied before me and owned a hand gun before Oct. 2013 and is still pending so I'm not sure why certain people take longer than others...

    Hope this information helps,
