    The T/CR22 is advertised to work with any magazine designed for the 10/22. Therefore the question, will non T/CR22 magazines still lock the action open on last shot?


    EDIT: Crap, located the following, 10/22 magazines work just fine (they don’t hold the bolt open after the last shot, but that’s a small price to pay for the convenience) https://www.shootingillustrated.com/articles/2018/8/21/review-thompsoncenter-tcr22/

    In my opinion the hold open is the most important design of the firearm.

    NRA did a review in the Oct issue of American Hunter and said after 200 rounds the TCR magazines, didn't have any issues.
