Upper came in and I wasted no time

Clocked the Surefire muzzle brake and drilled a 1/8" hole about 1/16" into the barrel

Fired up the trusty TIG welder, welded the pin to the brake then assembled my "non-SBR" rifle

Still need to find some FDE mags, I have some NHMTG 5.56 20rd AR15 Magazine USGI mags to hold me over

Only other thing I'm going to change still is swap the handguard for a Magpul MOE FDE version.

Looks great man. You really didn't waste any time building it. If you don't mind me asking, how much did it cost overall?

PSA Hammer Forged Mid Upper - 14.7'' CHF CL Stripped Upper - Cosmetic Blem - 459.95
Surefire MB556K muzzle brake - 149.00
PSA carry handle sight - 79.99
KNS anti-rotation pins - 33.95
JoeBob NiB BCG and charging handle - 215.90
2ea NHMTG 5.56 20rd AR15 Magazine USGI - 17.99ea

Hey Fireball, Just tried to anodize my lower and it wouldn't take the dye. Any suggestions on where I might have gone wrong?
