Had a business meeting in Charleston WVA tomorrow. Got the rental car upgraded to AWD and left Hagerstown at 9:20 thinking I'd be ahead of the storm since the "afternoon" was when it would get bad the weather man said. Wrong!

Went though Sidling Hill and up the next mountain and up it with people getting stuck and sliding off nailing into the guard rail. I only got to Little Orleans and westbound was horrible. Then I noticed only cars and trucks and the warning must have went over the CB and all 18 wheelers were about off the road. Called my boss, he call me a Poosy, since he lives in Florida. I told him to Kiss my Arse. :D 70 more miles to Morgantown was not going to happen.

Business trip canceled and I am home. Return the rental tomorrow.

Wife called around noon saying our street was starting to ice up. I didn't really have much to do at the shop except avoid the boss's glare so I decided to appease the wifey and drive the 14 miles home. Roads seemed fine though the rain had converted to sleet/ice. I turned onto my street in Gaithersburg to find the street had become pretty much ice covered.

I'm holding you personally responsible for this weather we've had in March.
    Stay warm out there.

This time of year, the robins come and go. Not sure where they go, but they do go...eventually returning...then going again.

I fully accept the blame. It was all my doing when I first saw those robins. Don't know where they went, but I sure haven't seen them lately! :banghead:

Hi everyone. I’m jeff from Friendsville. I would love to bring my son to a hooligan event once you start up in the spring.

You’re more than welcome to attend, but we usually shoot year round so there no spring startup.;)
    Just about every Sunday morning.

Hey, Jefflac, yes - please do come to the range, bring your son and introduce yourself. As Buff said, we shoot during all seasons. It could be freezing cold or hot summer days. We're usually there very early.

According to the NWS we're gonna get another 10" of this slushy sh!t tonight and tomorrow. And I have it on good authority that a couple of Hooligans have a road trip planned to pick up some needed BP items on Thursday.

It's Spring already! The white sh!t needs to GO AWAY!

Yesterday I burned my garden off in shorts. Today there is at least 8" of snow on it. I guess it won't be flaring back up.

Get there any Sunday morning around sun-up. They'll be there, rain or shine or snow.

I guess I’m going to have to use my snowblower for the first time this winter, I’ve just been packing it down for the most part until now.

I took my plow off back in Feb when it was 75 ddegrees. Went to move my Kubota yesterday to put it on about noon time and the dang tractor says nothin doing.

I usually leave it on all winter, bc it is a bear to get on and off. Shoulda spent a few more bucks and got one with power down instead of float. Would make it easier to mount for sure.

C'mon Hooligans - Get to springtime already!

Kindly blow that snow in the directions of north, south or farther west. We don't need any here in the east.

    Thank you. That is all.

I’m blowing it Northwest. Figured I better get rid of the first foot now since it’s starting to snow harder and I’m sure it will pile up again.

Is Winter FINALLY Over in Deep Creek?

    I'm hoping so.

Many dealt with moving a lot of snow. I triple checked our hound "nose count" to make sure none were missing. ;)

It's still pretty dayum cold at night in the mountains. But 5 hounds will keep us warm. And when we start seeing nice spring sunsets with no sign of more white sh!t heading our way for at least a week - that's a good sign!

Now, if the glaciers that have built up in the shady areas would melt I could maybe put away my Yak Trax till next winter!

    :fingerscrossed::fingerscrossed:

That's crazy. Maybe Hell is freezing over, starting from the west and moving towards the east......

Hopefully they get this forecast wrong and it's just a little rain.
