  • Are there any that are manufactured this way with a wide contact patch like say the hi point or elftman triggers? Picture is of the hi point trigger.

The one thing I noticed between using the wide trigger on the hi point and the standard style (narrow bow) on the AR mil spec trigger is that on the hi point, as sluggish, gritty, and heavy as it is, I had a easier time taking up the slack and breaking the shot over the narrow bow on the AR.

Kinda weird I know. Trying to convince myself that perceived trigger movement has anything to do with the design or is just a thigment of my imagination.

I"d give the Larue MBT-2S serious consideration. It's as wide as the AR trigger slot allows.

I'll go out on a limb here and say it's the best value AR trigger right now bar none @$87.00 directly from them.

Super nice 2 stage very sim to Geissele SSA-E

The only thing wider would be something like a HiperFire with the shoe added. It's not even close to mil spec design though.
