Take an oath and follow the "Rule of Law" vs. follow orders to take a paycheck home, interesting, however it seems strange when allowing more freedoms to a group who would also do away with their kind (law enforcement) ... "Abolish ICE". This is written assuming not all of those people were "Parkland survivors" and in no way should be misconstrued as LEO bashing.
    Hang in there Rack!

Rack is amassing a fine collection of silver bracelets. We should chip in and buy him a map so he could add a pin for "I took a stand for my rights and was falsely arrested here" after each event.

Bravo to you sir, you are a great man amoung men and you have my utmost respect.

    Thank you, my friend.

Yeah, the reality really sets in when my brother texted me to comment: “you’ve really got quite the rap sheet...”

Stoveman’s video puts to shame the notion that the Fairfax PD needed to act as if a “dangerous” assembly was underway and put up barricades.

The police don’t make the rules for the Public Square. The Constitution does!

“Pre-crime Police” violate our rights TO BE IN PUBLIC PEACEFULLY!

You have to remember that FF County is a liberal demorat county that is so far left ,almost as bad at the MGA IMHO, that i am not surprised the local pd arrested Rack. When they escorted the other side back to their lines they were showing their true colors and not upholding their oath of office.Of course when Rack goes to court, their will be a far left liberal judge on the bench because they went judge shopping so the liberal left could get their way even in court.

However no crime was committed if the police line was illegally established see post #16.

When the bracelets clicked that shift supervisor was on the phone for a while with someone who was clearly calling the shots from the comfort of his/her living room.

I just don't get it. On one side we have the civilized law abiding folks, and on the other you have a bunch of squawking leftists who wouldn't piss on cops if they were on fire. Who do the cops choose to arrest? Makes no sense to me. SMH...
As a cop who has had to work the civil disturbance detail before, I can promise you that 99% of arrests are ordered by the line commander... not the line officer.

This was a political decision, 100%. The line officer is following a lawful order of a superior and has no discretion. There is a reason I no longer work on such a detail...

I think it's pretty well accepted this arrest was political in nature and not because of rank and file officers. They're following orders.

    We get that.

Yep, they're following orders, so we'll give them a pass.

Would you make that same argument in Montgomery on December 1, 1955? That officer was "following orders".

Sgt Pope was "following orders". So why is he being sued?

This fantasy notion that the rank and file will side with the Constitution is just that - a fantasy. Seems to me the rank and file will "follow orders" - regardless of what the Constitution says.

All are served and sued. That is how it works never just one.

And the arresting officer yesterday, will he be sued?

"Following orders" sounds like it is getting expensive for the rank and file.

Perhaps getting into their personal pocketbook may make them less hesitant to "follow orders".

Pretty hard to actually get in a cops pocket book. The agency assume's 99.9% of liability in these financial suits.
