Get both on quick release mounts.
Nothing wrong with Spike's uppers. They test shoot it before they send it. Mine works like a charm. (Now I have to work on marksmanship

Do u have any others to compare it to? Basically I'm wondering if it's worth it to spend 100-200 more for an LMT or BCM.

I went with a DEL-TON complete upper and lower parts kit for < $500
I'll get the lower locally and put it all together. I should have a pretty solid AR15 "A2" for less right about 600.

I have no other upper to compare it to. It was recommended to me by someone who will remain nameless. Hint: He has done more group buys on here than any man in his right mine should.

Your good either way. I have both and both are great. Personally something pulls me towards bcm but i cant say its better than spikes. In fact my first spikes bcg may have had slighly better staking than my bcm, but thats splitting hairs because both are damn near perfect.
I need to find that old thread with the comparison, that topic keeps coming back up.
