For those of you who recently applied for a Utah or Florida CC permit, how long did it take from application to permit-in-hand?

Utah took around 30 days for me. My friend sent his awhile back and still hasn't got anything. Think its been about a month and a half for him with nothing yet.

Pretty sure current politics are causing the application rate to shoot waaaaaayyyyyyyy up.

I put my FL and UT applications in the mail on the same day, and... they arrived in the mail on the same day! (I remember it was about 1 month... mailed around new years and had them before 1 Feb)

Utah - 30 days from check cashed, 55 days out and back
Florida - 75 days from check cashed, 88 days out and back - may have been delayed some as my training cert wasn't a standard FL form.

This time last year Florida took a week. When I got the letter in the mail I thought I screwed up something on the application and would be waiting even longer. Imagine my surprise when I opened it and found the permit inside.

Did my Utah training @ Freestate on 5/14. They mailed the package. Check cashed on 6/4/16. Received in the mail yesterday 7/11. 58 days total.

For a Florida Vet, 8 days start to finish. The FL DMV does pictures, prints, and sends it all in to the state for you
